This lady writes GREAT content. This post really resonated with me because I see some developers portraying a professionally coiffeured PR version of themselves on social media - and yet I get to see how appallingly they treat their investors behind closed doors.

Very glad to say these disingenuits are in the minority


Let's talk about AUTHENTICITY on social media ...⠀

Authenticity means that how you APPEAR online and how you actually ARE in person ADDS UP.⠀

Imagine if you read someone's social media content and they're dropping the F bomb in every post. But then you meet them in person, and they're all prim & proper. You'd be like - what's that about mate ...⠀

Or if they say that some of their values are listening & being understanding, yet when you meet them at a networking event they just don't shut up about themselves⠀

Does that make you trust them, and want to get to know them better? Or does it make you think "I'd rather mop the floor with my tongue' ...⠀

People do business with people who's values align with theirs. So if you're not being the real YOU on social media, then you're missing OUT.⠀

Show your true values, and the right people will be drawn to you. Everyone else is irrelevant really⠀
