I was going to start this post with, ‘I work hard at being serene’ 😂
I think they call that a paradox 🤪
It depends whether you think serenity is sitting still and meditating?
I don’t think it is. Well, I’ve had periods of time where it had to be that; I was so burnt out. But now, I think it’s the tune you do life to, not the activity itself. [I can find serenity in Baby Shark 😂🦈🦈🦈🥳💃 just as well as gong baths and didgeridoos, both work for me!]
And I think you can fully appreciate RISK in property, and be serene. Risk doesn’t have to be the rollercoaster ride of sleepless nights and adrenalin.
👉 In fact, it’s BY FULLY APPRECIATING the RISK, that you have a chance of keeping your serenity…
Sure, I still get that nervous feeling just before saying yes to a deal. I don’t think that ever goes away. Nor should it! It would mean I’ve stopped caring altogether 😂💥🔥
What mindset do you have around RISK and SERENITY? What keeps you peaceful as an investor?
Post inspired by a great Sunday Special chat with Adam Lawrence, Jay Howard, and Piotr Rusinek at the weekend. If you missed it, it’s definitely worth catching up on, watch it here.👇🏽👆🏽
