Let’s have a little (very hypothetical) fun.
One for the property investors! Take a look at the burger picture on this post.
The burger on the right is from ‘Meat Up’ a new 24-hour burger place just arrived on Canal Street in Manchester. There are approx 40 other restaurants within walking distance, about 11 of them serving burgers. This burger features on Corrie’s Simon Gregson’s Instastory highlights.
The burger on the left comes from ‘Ethiburger’ (I did say this was hypothetical!) just opened in Bethnal Green, East London, next to the Buddhist Centre. There are 3 other eateries in the area, a pub, a caf and a chicken shop. This burger won the Best Ethical UK Burger award 2021.
Which one is making more sales? 🤔 ⬇️
Guess what - I don’t have the answer 😂. Either could be successful.
What I want to know is Why? And WHAT TOP QUESTIONS DID YOU ASK TO GET TO THAT ANSWER?
What RISKS do you need to know about?
Also, what would you add, or takeaway (sorry, getting hungry now!) to make it more appealing in that market?
Lots of people would love to live in a top floor penthouse, but not if it was sandwiched (sorry!) between HMOs and Student accommodation.
You might think this is obvious, but as investors, we see this again and again - all the ideas but no or not enough CONTEXT.
Have you checked your market as thoroughly as you thought? How are you going to sell this, really?
Would love to hear your responses ⬇️😂
