How do you make decisions? ☕️
I was asked this question very early on in my property development investing journey.
And why were they asking?
👉 Because there is always more than one strategy which could work. COULD work…🧐🧐🧐
👉 Making decisions in property often involves a lot of 💰 and often two years of engagement!
👉 We are always secretly searching for something, for me that’s P E A C E 😌
So how do I make decisions?
S L O W L Y 🐢
And I ask myself these questions:
❓Do I have all the information I need to make the decision. Not ‘all the info that’s available’ or ‘already sent over.’ What do I need to feel satisfied I’m making an informed choice? 👀
❓What’s my GUT telling me a) about this deal, b) about the project leader and c) about TIMING. Not, ’what are other people saying about it?’ #thinkforyourself
❓Fast forward to having made the decision. Am I feeling relieved I said Yes, or relieved I said No. How would I be feeling if I had already made it?
